The Old Lockup has been sensitively refurbished to combine its historic original features with modern convenience. Its four spacious en-suite bedrooms are individually styled and furnished, complete with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The Magistrate's Room

The Magistrates Room would have housed the man charged with upholding the law before the police moved out from London to the Shire Counties in the 1850's.

It has an imposing antique French bed, ensuite shower, and the exposed stonework oozes character.

The Solicitor's Room

The Solicitors Room was set aside so the lawyer could talk to his client in private. A private bathroom has been installed in the adjoining cell allowing guests to lie back and soak where previous inmates would be considering their fate.

The Coachman's Room
& Hayloft

The Coach-house, where once the Inspector stabled his horses has been renovated and restored, providing two additional bedrooms of great character and with superb views - The Hayloft with private bath and the other being the original room lived in by the Coachman, who slept and lived alongside the horses.
